The issue with PPV is that there aren't too many great resources to learn PPV from. PPC has a ton of courses on the subject, but that's not the case with PPV. Luckily, I've ran across an ebook by David Ford on the Warrior Forum called the PPV Playbook. It's really a great ebook for both newbies and experienced PPV marketers a like. After reading the book, I was able to implement some of the tricks discussed inside to really increase the ROI of some of my campaigns. David Ford has been working with PPV for a long time now, and he's really making a name for himself in the PPV world. He held his own PPV workshop with Justin Dupre during Affiliate Summit, and I heard it was very well received. The PPV Playbook is split up into 6 different sections. In the first chapter, you get an introduction to PPV, plus a list of the top 10 PPV networks to join. David all goes into the types of offers that work well with PPV traffic. The second chapter, David goes into how to build a successful PPV campaign. He talks about how to select offers, look at demographics, and the process to find urls to bid on that are suited for that offer. In the third chapter of the PPV Playbook, David discusses about direct linking vs creating landing pages. He gives good examples of what a good landing page for PPV should look like and includes several useful tips I was able to incorporate into my own landing pages. The fourth and fifth chapters mainly talk about PPV bidding strategies and the use of tracking with PPV. David prefers the open source Prosper202 system, which I like myself as well. Finally, in the last chapter of PPV Playbook, David actually gives away 6 niches that he has had success with in the past. He shares both the keywords and demographics that he used. This is something you don't see in many ebooks of this type, and it really shows the confidence that David has in his work. You can purchase the PPV Playbook for $47. It's well worth it for anyone getting started with PPV. And if you don't like it, you can always take advantage of the money back guarantee. Go get it!
